Puvro Plinn, LLC is Hiring an AWS Solution Architect Near Indianapolis, IN
As an AWS Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing and deploying cloud-based solutions that leverage AWS services to meet the IT and business requirements of the Indiana Department of Health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business and technical requirements and design scalable, cost-effective solutions using AWS services.
- Create detailed architectural diagrams and documentation outlining AWS solution structures.
- Recommend appropriate AWS services based on project needs, considering performance, cost, and security.
- Plan, implement, and maintain AWS infrastructure, including virtual private clouds (VPCs), subnets, security groups, and IAM roles.
- Facilitate application deployment on AWS using services like Amazon EC2, Lambda, and Elastic Beanstalk.
- Implement infrastructure automation and manage AWS resources using tools like AWS CloudFormation.
- Ensure security and compliance of AWS solutions by implementing best practices and encryption.
- Optimize AWS costs and design solutions for performance, scalability, and high availability.
- Set up monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and address performance issues.
- Provide technical leadership and act as a trusted advisor to customers on AWS services.
Requirements:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification or similar AWS certifications (1 year required)
- In-depth knowledge of AWS services, features, and best practices (10 years required)
- Experience in architecting and implementing cloud solutions (10 years required)
- Strong understanding of cloud security and compliance (10 years required)
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform (10 years required)
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience (1 year required)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills (1 year required)
- Leadership qualities and experience leading projects (1 year required)
- Experience with writing SOW for AWS projects (1 year required)
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (1 year required)
- Experience in hybrid or multi-cloud environments (1 year highly desired)
- Familiarity with other cloud platforms like Azure or Google Cloud (beneficial, 1 year highly desired)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $175,000.00 per year
